Don’t you love this part of December, when it’s halfway through the month but you’re not even halfway done with gift shopping? Better get going. However, we understand that some people are just more difficult to find gifts for, especially your sibling/cousin/friend/neighbor who’s planning to start their own business in the new year. It may not seem like it, but now is actually the best time to get them something special, before they’re so wildly successful and rich that you can’t buy them anything anymore.

So what to get that ambitious entrepreneur in your life? We suggest getting on their page and choosing a gift that helps launch their dream off the ground. Here’s what they’re going to need:

1. A website

A surprising suggestion, we know – but we really do believe that every business deserves an exceptional website (Preferably built on WordPress). And we happen to know some people who can make that custom website magic happen. Or, maybe they already have a website – but if it’s terrible, they’re going to need some help.

Not sure how much to spend? It really just depends on what they need.

If nothing else, you can buy them their future domain name to get them started.

2. A hosting plan

Gotta keep that nifty new website somewhere, right? And you can support a small business by choosing local!

3. A security measure they don’t have to worry about

Everyone’s concerned about website security. But if you let Torx manage regular security updates, your entrepreneur won’t have to worry about vulnerabilities on their site.

4. A marketing strategy

The best way to drive potential customers to that website? We recommend a combo of search engine marketing, social media, email marketing and more depending on your entrepreneur’s goals and dreams. Better yet, we can chat strategy to determine what’s going to be most cost-effective if your budding business owner is on a tight budget.

5. A few print marketing materials

Imagine handing your loved one a small box with their brand new business card inside! Oh wait – have they figured out their branding and logo and colors, etc.? If not, we can help them make a great impression on customers, too.

Launching a new business and setting out on your own is no small feat. Trust us, we get it! And we’re happy to support our fellow entrepreneurs each step of the way. Got questions, or ready to get started? Let’s talk!
