A Brand New Day
It’s a brand new day at Torx Media…. It’s finally Spring, the sun is out, the birds are chirping, and we’re celebrating our 1-year anniversary by launching our new website. Even though the three of us have been involved in the web design and online marketing business for a combined 30+ years, we are pleased to announce that we survived (and were very successful during) our first year under the name Torx Media. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, over 50% of small businesses fail in their first year. Well, that’s one less thing to worry about now!
So what's in store for the rest of 2009?
When we started this new endeavor in March of last year, our focus was primarily centered around website design. Web design is one of our core skills, but as more and more clients asked us to help grow their businesses, we found ourselves beginning to offer services well beyond the scope of web design.
All of us at Torx Media have a background in web development and online marketing, but we were surprised to discover the number of small businesses who required those services in addition to web design. It didn’t take long at all to make the decision to begin offering these services: custom web application development, SEO (search engine optimization), pay-per-click online marketing services, and even web hosting. We found that our clients were very happy that a single company, Torx Media, could answer all their questions and implement all their technology-related requirements.
