Digital Marketing Assistant

We are currently searching for a Digital Marketing Assistant who will be able to provide support and collaborate with our Account Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist team members. This is a newly-created position, and it is essentially a unique hybrid role consisting of Account Manager responsibilities as well as duties associated with social media marketing, search engine marketing (pay-per-click), and content marketing. We envision this to be a "junior" role, but we are certainly willing to speak with candidates who happen to have more experience.

For the account management part of this position, prior project management experience is desired, but not necessarily a must-have. The ideal candidate should excel in managing clients, accounts, projects, and other team members. This individual will be a primary point-of-contact for our clients and agency partners.

For the digital marketing part of this position, prior experience with social media marketing and pay-per-click advertising (Google Ads) is desired. The ideal candidate will possess at least some experience with managing paid ads via Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media channels. A content marketing mindset, strong initiative, motivation, and ambitiousness are pluses.

WordPress Developer

We are currently looking to hire a full-time WordPress Developer. In addition to demonstrating familiarity with WordPress’s front-end features and functionality, the ideal candidate will also possess strong HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP skills.

This is a full-time position, located on-site at our office in Richmond, VA.

We work with a very wide variety of clients and partners – local, regional and national. The ability to multitask and routinely pivot between multiple projects is required for this position. The majority of our clients’ websites are developed on the WordPress platform, and our goal is to find a talented WordPress developer who will help us continue providing our clients and partners with professional and reliable services.

Required Skills

  • At least 2 years of front-end WordPress experience, including fluency in setting up and maintaining websites via WP Admin.
  • At least 2 years of back-end WordPress experience, including being comfortable with functions.php, as well as the ability to utilize HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP to modify theme template files.
  • Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins such as, but not limited to, Advanced Custom Fields, WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, Yoast SEO, etc.
  • At least 4 years hands-on HTML and CSS experience.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to be extremely detail-oriented and thorough.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and technologies.

Additional Desired Skills

  • Any Javascript experience, specifically with jQuery.
  • Any PHP and MySQL experience outside of the WordPress platform, including experience with OOP.
  • Design experience and/or understanding design concepts as they apply to the web.
